Feb 13-17
Last week we solved problems related to multiplication and division of fractions.
This week students will be tested on the fourth and fifth grade standards regarding fractions according to the Common Core. (Post test)
Students will assess their goals to see if they were met and spend time reviewing past concepts if needed.
If not, we will be moving into a unit regarding Algebra, integers, and solving equations with variables.
5 NF 6 I can solve real-world problems involving multiplying
fractions and mixed numbers.
5 NF 7
I can divide fractions by whole-numbers.
¼ ÷ 3 = 1/4 ÷ 3/1 = 1/4 x 1/3 =1/12
5.NF.7b I can divide whole-numbers
by fractions.
3 ÷ 1/4 = 3/1 ÷ 1/4 = 3/1 x 4/1 =
12/1 = 12
