Week of Nov 21-23
Students will read about sound energy and complete workbook pages. From here, students will use their newly acquired knowledge to brainstorm and draw a diagram of a model instrument that could illustrate different sound vibrations and pitches. (design challenge)

Week of Nov 14-18,
This past week, students have began studying information text organized around teaching us about energy in its different forms. They have read multiple short text and compared, contrasted, and examined information given from the text features about energy. This week we explore light energy, and how light is reflected, refracted, and absorbed. We will have different stations for students to gain a hands on experience of how light can change forms. Be sure to ask your child what they discovered at the end of the week.
